NICU Grads! Developmental Groups

Service Description

These structured activity groups give you the opportunity to meet with a professional Occupational Therapist and Speech Language Pathologist who have years of experience working in the NICU and are passionate about supporting families once they're home. You will also have the opportunity to get to know other families who have experienced the NICU journey, connect through your shared stories and create lasting connections. 1st Thursday of the month with sessions that will include: - A safe space for babies who have recently left the NICU - Social support for parents - Activities & resources that will support bonding, development and play skills - An understanding of how time in the NICU affects development and family bonding - Supportive play equipment
